Last Wednesday in Madison

Yeah for ice cream sundae parties with lots of great friends!

Yeah for crazy friends who eat salsbury steak with ice cream!

Yeah for getting my counting to 10 in chinese approved by a native chinese speaker!

Yeah for my last day of work at Lowell.

Yeah for a clean kitchen, bedroom and hallway! (Just don't look in the laundry room...)

I can't believe how fast the summer flew by! In one week, I'll be moved out of Madison. In one month, I'll be in China! Tonight, I talked to Hannah who may be one of my roommates in Beijing. She's already lived there for a school year and had lots of advice to offer on packing for China (two suitcases, max 50lbs each) and living in Beijing. She said that we would be teaching either 1st of 4th grade. I was expecting to teach high school! She also said that Beijing isn't very China-y. There are Starbucks, Pizza Huts and McDonalds all over! I can't wait to go there and see it all for myself but until then I'll enjoy my last few days in Madison and weeks in the US.
