Funny student story of the day

I started teaching a new class last night for second grade students who have lived in the States. We were introducing ourselves and I asked them if they had any pets. One of the little girls, Kara, cheerily told me "I got a rabbit for my first birthday but my grandpa tried to wash it and it died." I told her thanks for telling me that so that I would never wash my rabbit.
